As a practitioner, I am especially interested in the fluid and changing nature of health; Health as the ability of the body to adapt and change to the demands of it's environment - involving both the external and internal environments of the individual. With all treatments, I take a patient-focused and gentle approach to wellness, of which the patient plays an active role.
My initial training was a diploma in Shiatsu and Oriental Therapies which I completed in 2013. Since this initial training, I have completed a two year postgraduate course in Japanese Needle Therapy and Acupuncture Protocols. These strategies have greatly broadened my approach to health and wellness and have been incorporated in my clinic since 2014.
In 2016 I was privileged to join the other practitioners at Blue Mountains Cancer Help where I have assisted patients diagnosed or undergoing treatment for cancer.
I have been very honoured to observe many treatments in the clinic of my teacher Paul Movsessian, where my love of Medicine is continually inspired and I continue to learn and refine my approach to diagnosis and treatment.
